ANOTHER day of dress up :) Wow, my DD has been having fun with this and I'm loving every minute of it. Yesterday I woke up and took off my pink uni-tard (picture attached) and got our son off to school. I awoke DD at 9am with her morning coffee. To my surprise one of the first words out of her mouth was "Where's your pink outfit?". With a pause knowing I messed up I said I took it off to get our son off to school. She told me the standing order was that what she puts me in I have to stay in until she tells me I can get out of it unless of course that it is something I can't cover up and it involves our son or the public. This outfit she reminded me could have been easily covered up. I put the uni-tard back on right a way and then she tells me "I'm going to tell you to do something, if you complain or fuss AT ALL you'll just make worse on yourself" She told me to go outside and hung a tree in our backyard until further notice. To me this is scary because if our neighbor looks out there window, well there I am, pinker than all get out. I simply said ok and went out and did it knowing it would be worse if I didn't just do it.
So I'm out there hugging a tree in all my pinkness and I kid you not this squirrel to my surprise (and his) was staring me down about 3 feet in front of my face. My wife DD was laughing because let's face it this was one funny looking situation. I so wanted to let go because it looked like the dam thing was going to jump on my face and scratch me up. I hid my face behind the truck and held on. My DD started to count slowly up to 41. She paused, laughed and told me to come on in. I scurried in like there was no tomorrow. We only wish we had the camera out for this one. In short I learned my lesson and will NOT take off attire unless told to do so.
My wonderful DD went out to a meeting and I stayed home once again dressed up. While she was gone, I made the bed, did the dishes and cleaned off the dining room table as well as tightened the legs on it (as well as some other things). I love when she comes home and sees the work I have done. When she is appeased I am so happy. She on her way home had bought me a surprise. It was this wonderful tiara with streamers running down the back side (picture attached). Perfect for her pretty princess. She placed it on my head and I was ecstatic. Our day all in all was wonderful.
